Material: Both the raft and drybag are constructed using Rivertex® tough TPU-coated Nylon fabric, known for its lightweight nature, high tear strength, and ISO 12402-7 approval. This fabric is designed to provide unrivaled strength and durability, especially when performance matters.
Features: With high-frequency welded seams, the RuckRaft® inflates in just 30 seconds via its two-way valve. There are no zips or stitched seams, ensuring a leak-free experience.
The RuckRaft® comes with a polyester tow leash that can be easily attached around your waist or ankle. Polyester has been chosen for its water-resistant properties, retaining strength even when wet. The flexible waist design ensures a comfortable fit for all sizes.
Dimensions: The RuckRaft® offers buoyancy to support a full 70L, 15kg three-day expedition pack. When packed, it weighs a mere 1kg and measures 25cm wide with a 12.5cm diameter (similar to a rolled-up beach towel with trunks inside). The dry bag has a 70cm opening and is 95cm deep, providing ample space to accommodate a full 70L rucksack, with room to spare for clothes, walking shoes, or any other essentials you wish to take on your adventure.

The RuckRaft® is a simple and portable two-piece kit that transforms all your gear into a raft, allowing you to tow it effortlessly while swimming. It’s lightweight, tough, and practical, exclusively designed, tested, and made in the UK by AboveBelow®.
With a spacious capacity of approximately 120L, the dry bag lets you bring along everything you desire for your swim. The streamline U-shape design and exceptional buoyancy of the raft ensure smooth gliding across the water, even when fully loaded.
We’ve made some design enhancements for the RR2 version, including larger tabs for the straps, providing each strap with the ability to withstand up to 35kg of force (5 stone). The vertical strap has been extended by an extra 20cm to support larger volume loads, and a neoprene strip ensures a secure seal on the dry bag.
Crafted from tough marine-grade materials, featuring dependable YKK clips and solid webbing, the RuckRaft® is built to withstand the harshest elements. We’ve purposely avoided zips as they tend to degrade quickly, especially when exposed to salt water, sand, and grit.
When not in use, the RuckRaft® conveniently packs down into a compact and lightweight 1kg package, fitting effortlessly into any day sack, ensuring you can take it with you wherever your adventures lead.
